FAQs:
Should I take the OSHA 10-Hour Maritime Training or OSHA 30-Hour Training?
The 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility as it provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards in the maritime industry.
Why is this course two days - can't I do all 10 hours in one day?
This training will take a minimum of 10 hours to complete, however OSHA limits training contact hours to 7½ hours per day. Rather than one long 7½ day with a lunch break and a shorter second day, we have broken the training up into two days, each lasting approximately 5½ hours per day (including breaks).
